Embed a concrete calculator

If you write about patios, sheds, driveways or footings, your readers are going to ask how much concrete to buy. This answers it without sending them to a competitor’s page.

What it looks like

Live, not a screenshot. Change the numbers — it is the same widget you would be embedding.

The code

Copy this into any page. The src must stay on figuremill.com; everything else is yours to change.

<iframe src="https://figuremill.com/embed/concrete-calculator"
        title="Concrete calculator"
        width="100%" height="780"
        style="border:0;max-width:720px"
        loading="lazy"></iframe>
<p style="font-size:13px;text-align:center">
  Calculator by <a href="https://figuremill.com/materials/concrete-calculator">FigureMill</a>
</p>

What it does and does not do

The widget computes cubic yards, bag counts at 80 or 60 pounds, the ready-mix quantity rounded to a quarter yard, and the weight of the pour. It handles slabs, strip footings and round columns, with a waste allowance you can change.

It does not set cookies, load analytics, show ads, or ask for an email. The arithmetic runs inside the iframe, in the reader’s browser, and nothing is transmitted anywhere. That matters if you have a consent banner: this widget adds no new third-party category to your policy.

Terms

Free to embed on any site, commercial or personal. No attribution is technically required, but the snippet includes a credit link and we would rather you kept it. Do not modify the calculator’s formulas or present the results as your own tool.

If you need a different calculator embedded — board feet, paint, decking, BTU — tell us; the same shell can carry any of them.

Frequently asked questions

Is the embed free?

Yes. No licence, no sign-up, no key. Paste the snippet and it works.

Does it collect data or set cookies?

No. The calculation runs in the browser. No cookies, no analytics, nothing stored.

Will it slow my page down?

The iframe is lazy-loaded, so nothing is fetched until a reader scrolls near it. When it does load: one stylesheet and about 2 KB of script.

Can I change the size?

Set width and height on the iframe however you like. The layout is responsive down to 320px.

Does it match the calculator on your site?

Yes — same formulas, same waste default, same bag yields.

Embedded results are estimates for ordering material, not a structural specification. Concrete strength, reinforcement, subgrade and code requirements are outside what any calculator can decide.
